Security Wallet Passport
has anyone ever boarded a plane with an expired license?
my wallet was stolen a few weeks ago, i immediately went to get a new license but i am flying out tomorrow and have yet to get my new id. i have an expired license and a temporary paper license, will american airlines still allow me to get on a plane? i don't have a passport or any other photo id but i do have a social security card.
i also have my birth certificate too, but i don't want to spend my vacation having to keep up with that and my ss card..
It is not American Airlines decision to make, it is TSA's. Take your old expired license and your new paper license and your birth certificate. Your social security card cannot be used for ID. It says so right on the front of it. TSA may require additional screening for you, so go earlier than normal.

Is it ok to take my prescription with me im going to Jakarta Indonesia.Its my first time anywhere on a plane.?
Also my wallet stays in my pocket unless i have to show my ids to security.So is it ok to leave in my pocket going through security gate?Also same for my passport im not leaving those in my carry on bag

You don't say the country from which you are leaving.
So, assuming it is from a US airport:
As long as your wallet does not contain anything metal, like a spare house key or something, then you certainly can leave it in your pocket when you go through the metal detectors. Cash, credit cards and so on will not set off the detector. You should also keep your passport in a pocket as well.
Of course, you should remove keys, coins, belts with large buckles, heavy/large jewelry and put them into you carry-on before you go through the metal detector. I also put my cell phone in my carry-on bag, then get it back afterward.
Leave your prescription bottle in your carry-on bag and let it go through the x-ray machine. The TSA website specifically says that they do NOT require that medicine be in an original container or labeled. It is better if it is, but there is no rule in the US that it must be.
I travel with a variety of medication and medical related supplies and always leave them in my bag to go through the x-ray machine. No one has ever asked to look at them.

All medications in any form or type (for instance, pills, injectables, or homeopathic) and associated supplies (syringes, Sharps disposal container, pre-loaded syringes, jet injectors, pens, infusers, etc.) are allowed through the security checkpoint once they have been screened. Atropens, an auto-injection system that can help treat many emergency conditions (low heart rate, breathing problems, and excess saliva related to insecticide, nerve gas or mushroom poisoning) are also allowed.
We do not require that your medications be labeled.
Carbon dioxide (CO2) migraine inhalers and CO2 refills.
Medications in daily dosage containers are allowed through the checkpoint once they have been screened.
Medication and related supplies are normally X-rayed. However, as a customer service, TSA now allows you the option of requesting a visual inspection of your medication and associated supplies.

The only remaining question is about your destination. I have no way to know if the medication you are taking with you is legal in Indonesia. Countries have different laws regarding some medicine. If what you have is a controlled substance (pain killers or other opiate derivatives, for example, but schedule I, II and III particularly) then it may not be legal there. If it is pretty ordinary stuff - blood pressure meds, cholesterol meds, and the like - then I would not anticipate any problems.
