I love that song :] The serrated edge, and the fact that she "doesn't have to use force" leads me to believe that her manipulation is so good that she no longer has to try at it. Perhaps she uses her body to manipulate her man? Anyways, I think the island imagery denotes the inaccessibility of the man she is with. Perhaps he has done very wrong things in his life, perhaps he is a not a "good man", but she cannot know because she is unable to communicate with him. Her superficial nature, though, allows her to disregard this. She's got her friends, so who cares if he's a "good man"?
