Lately I've been sort of curious of how to melt and mold certain metals. When googling around, I find nothing but extremely complicated formulas, methods, periodic table crap, blah blah blah.... But my question is: If this stuff is so complicated, how were the Bronze Age humans able to wrap their heads around something like this? There must be a much more simple way of explaining all this, because I am pretty sure that most of the methods I have read about were not used during those times. After all, we allegedly discovered it all by accident! By accident! Not by some super advanced nerdy mumbo-jumbo that you need an IQ over 190 to understand, and a massively swelling wallet to fund! And if the common man in those days were able to understand something like this so easily, then I am truly dissapointed in the apparent downward spiral that mankind's intelligence has fallen...
