I have this checkbook wallet. I absolutely love the inside, but the desgin on the outside... it's just not me. I really don't like it. The design is like embroidered on, so I don't think I can take it off.
How do I make the wallet look more appealing
Well it depends on your personal style. if you like industrial euro-chic stuff, you can always get some designer duct tape (colors or even tie-dye) and cover it
there are glue on rhinestones you can use or grab some embellishments from michaels craft store you can recover it w/ fabrics or ribbons or patches.
instead of using glue on anything just get some 3m spray adhesive.

Ladies, do you change wallets when you switch handbags?
I'm being totally OCD about wallets, forever buying one that promises to be "perfect" but then I can't seem to make up my mind whether to use a big one that holds all my cards and my checkbook or a smaller one to fit in smaller handbags. What do you use? How do you organise your purses?
This will probably be my favorite answer because I could open a store with all the pocketbooks AND wallets I have..... I am constantly changing styles for each. I used to use the larger wallet where you can put your checkbook but it got too bulky for me so.... I decided to tear off some blank checks from my checkbook, fold them in half, buy a smaller wallet, but with a lot of slots for the credit cards and use one for a few checks. I live in Miami, originally from New York and I change pocketbooks AND wallets for summer and cooler weather, example now at the end of October, all the white wallets,pocketbooks are away, all the baby pink, beige, away....... Out came of course black, brown, leopard (all sizes and shapes) leather, microfiber, metallic, gold, silver all year round. Enjoy your stuff......... I do.
