Dog Checkbook
Do you feel under appreciated? If so, what do you do about it?
We've been together for four years now, and I think we've gotten into such a routine he doesn't even realize everything I do (this includes FT work, pay the bills/balance the checkbook, walk the dogs, clean the house, take care of our baby, run errands, etc).
All he really has to do is go to work, walk the dogs, and help take care of our baby.
When I ask if he realizes how much I actually do, he makes it seem like I don't do much. How to I stop this from happening? And no, I don't want to live in a messy house until he decides to clean because he doesn't care how messy it gets!
OK...I understand. I do. But the thing is this, if you expect to be applauded or shown appreciation for the things you do for your family you need to question your motivations. You do the things you do to maintain your family and your house because you love them and you care. If you are only doing it because you want people to recognize it then you are going to feel under appreciated forever.
I do have a problem with the minimization of your efforts by your husband. I think maybe instead of telling him don't say a work, but start an activity journal. For one whole week write down everything you do. Start with the time you started the activity till the time the activity ends. Be sure to document your activities from beginning of your day till the end. Then at the end of the week give it to him.
Then ask him to do the same so that everyone can appreciate each other. One thing I have learned is that because we are so wrapped up in what we do we tend to minimize others activities. When my boyfriend goes to work he is soooo busy from the time he gets there till the time he leaves. Plus his job carries a high stress level. My job of writing technical procedures behind a nice neat desk is much more relaxing than being an airplane mechanic. So everything is relative.

if i give my landlord 30 days written notice, on the 31st day what rights do i have ?
i recently came home with the rent on day 31 to find a chain locking me out of my driveway , 2 blue nose pitt bulls in my yard and driveway, and wasnt even aloud to enter to change my clothes. after 7 dsys of persisting i was aloud 1&1/2 hours to collect my things from the yard not the house, as my lndlrd moved me out without me ,allowed his dogs to destroy and desicrate my furniture unto pieces,while he litteraly took out of my personal property any and everything of any value what so ever..( antique gun collection, jewerly,, checkbook.electronics,appliances.tools.tiffany lamps flat screens ..etc.. he said i could have my property back upon him collecting over $1,200.00 from me for andonment , damages, etc..! what rights do i have? whats the best way to ensure i get everything back? how do you suggest i handel this ...please help time is of the escence.
You need to file a police report today and accuse him of these deeds in writing and force the police to pick him up.
If the guy stole your property and you can prove it, nail him.
