Jumping Checkbook

Do you think I could help the Penguins if I joined the team?
I think if I hung out in front of Osgood and distracted him,I think the Penguins could win.Otherwise, they'll be sitting at home just like Fatso Brodeur (trying to balance his checkbook after MY buddy Melanie cleaned him out) without a ring.
Before you jump all over MY case that I don't have a ring yet either, I have my reasons.
1.The Jewelry is gawdy
2.The Cup has been kissed by too many people,I don't know where these people have been.
3.Too many snipers in a crowd if I participate in a Parade.
4.I'm afraid they might misspell MY name on the Cup.Shawn Avery or something.I hate that.
5.Commish Bettman hates ME so he'll do anything he can to prevent ME from winning.
I'LL ask a hockey question-Of all the current players in the League today, which one will make the best head coach?A nice 3 Musketeers bar to anyone who says ME.
Toodles
@ Allison-How can you tell how I'M standing?I think MY "Imposture" is fine.
@ Christina you promised not to call ME any of MY pet names.
Sean, you silly bastard.
They already make rules for the entire NHL in your name. I'm sure if you just ask if you can play for the Pens, they might let you in! Ray Shero is a pretty open fellow.
1. What do you care? You've already proved your "fashion sense" is immaculate.
2. You had your mouth all over Elisha Cuthbert. What the hell are you worried about Lord Stanley for?
3. Thay're all out to get YOU, huh? Tsk, tsk.
4. Duct tape and a sharpie. It does wonders. No one will notice.
5. See #3.
Real hockey answer:

That is all.
Have a great day, Mr. Avery. =D

Haiti situation: does anyone else find this annoying.....?
I find it interesting that celebrities and the rich are all about pulling out their checkbooks and having benefits and concerts for Haiti but where are their big bucks when it comes to the homeless, orphaned, and hungry right here in America? Why does everyone with money jump at the opportunity to help out other countries, but not so much when it comes to their own?
yes I agree that Haiti does need help and Im proud that America has stepped up so much, Im just saying that I don't see benefit concerts playing on every channel to raise money for the orphans and homeless in America. And to the person who said if you're homeless in America it's basically you're own fault, well if a country is the poorest one in the western hemisphere then they are doing something wrong too.
Hi Michelle. I believe one needs to assume that the homeless, orphaned and hungry
are not being helped in America. We have so many organizations that help people
here in this great nation. Many times people do not reach out for that assistance due to fear or distrust, mental health due to drugs and lack of education or just simply locality. The difference however is that we have a working government in place that lends a hand and helps those
that want to be helped. The ultimate assistance is getting people educated so that they
may learn to help themselves. In this manner a handout is not needed and eventually that person lends a hand to society and helps
another ailing soul. Haiti needs education, dependable government but at this moment in history a
working infrastructure, i.e. buildings, utilities, ability to grow food, etc... is needed. That requires
a lot of money.
In Haiti, virtually no organizations exist now due to this catastrophe, and prior to this, the government
gave very little assistance due to the mismanagement of funds and instability.
This brings to mind Micheal Jackson's song "The Man in the Middle." Rather than always depend on
others to help I prefer to do the little I can to help those around me who I can reach, here in America
in my own neighborhood. We all can lend a helping hand. Sometimes money is not the only answer. Money can be wasted but a kind deed reverberates through eternity.
