How long can I leave a Bengal cat/kitten at home?
How long can I leave a Bengal cat/kitten at home? I am thinking about getting a bengal cat.
I have school for 5-6 hours each day. But for one of those hours, I come home to eat lunch and I would give him/her some company.
What is the maximum amount of hours I could leave a bengal at home? ************* Answer this most importantly.
It really depends how young the kitten is. If s/he is still being bottle fed, s/he will need to receive care often throughout the day.
I'd recommend not allowing an older kitten access to the entirety of your house if you need to be gone for a long period (jumping on undesirable places and scratching could be problems, depending on your cat's personality; even if they don't need the care of a bottle baby). If you can't isolate them, take the proper measures to have catnip imbued scratching boards and covered/inaccessible trash cans, etc.
An adult cat that is properly litter trained (or else has access to the outside) is just fine for that duration of time. I, myself, have two cats (both adults) that are just fine throughout a normal workday of 8 hours. Again, take the proper measures to encourage proper scratching places, etc.

mama cat comes to rescue her little kitten
Hi I want to buy a young cat kitten in wigan, lancashire area but can't find one any suggestions?
I want to purchase or adopt a new kitten cat to add to our family. 2 young boys, cat,1 dog, 1rabbit but can't find any in the area. has anyone got any suggestions anywhere in lancashire this sied of manchester would be okay too!
checked local shelters and the local cat society are not keen on there being young children. Even though both are used to our cat. Hve looked at young cats too but cant find any even at local shelter.

Have the Vet ck him out. Lots of good answers above. But, in the meantime…..do you use carpet fresheners? I found that the powder kind would always make my animals sneeze.
