Mosque Turkey

What cool things are there to do in Istanbul, Turkey?
I am not really into mosques / churches. What fun things are there to do?
1- You can go to İstanbul Modern, a very famous contemporary arts museum.

2- Taksim square and Beyoglu, a very popular destination, full of bars, night clubs, historical buildings.....

3- Reina, one of the coolest night club&restaurant&bar complex.

4- İstanbul Culinary Institute, a cooking school, also has a restaurant and a cafe, in which the culinary students serve traditional Turkish cuisine in a modern way. Worths visiting. (Located steps from the Pera Museum in Tepebaşı) It is not as expensive as it sounds, by the way.

5- You can visit some big shopping malls like İstinyePark, Kanyon, Cevahir Mall (the biggest in Europe), Akmerkez, City's etc.

6- Bağdat Street is a cool place (on the Asian side), a one-way street full of shopping malls, cafes, restaurants, it is a bit like a narrower version of Champs Elysees.

7- While you are at the asian side, go to Moda, eat ice-cream at the famous Ali Baba Shop, go to Fenerbahçe Park and Kalamış Marina.
8- Go to karaköy and eat Baklava
9- go to Island of Princes', rent a bike and tour the island.
10- make a Bosphorus tour
11- Eat Fish&Rakı and some other mezes while watching the Bosphorus. That's cool.

Istanbul, Turkey: The Blue Mosque
I personally think Turkey has one of if not thee greatest ancient architectural buildings in the world?
I was just looking in a book at a picture of the church/mosque/museum Hagia Sophia and I always thought it was a pretty big building, but I had no idea it was colossal in size! Its MASSIVE! the tourist in the photo looking up at the dome looked like ants.
It blows my mind that such a massive building with such a wide open space still stands in great shape after more then a thousand years.
yes it's a masterpiece..
"Famous in particular for its massive dome, it is considered the epitome of Byzantine architecture and to have "changed the history of architecture."[1] It was the largest cathedral in the world for nearly a thousand years, until the completion of the Seville Cathedral in 1520. "
Then it was used as a mosque for app 400 years, after the foundation of the republic, it was turned into a museum.
several parts of it including the dome, collapsed after earthquakes etc.. but they were built again and it is still considered as an example of architectural intelligence..
