University Florida
I am a high school junior and wanna get into university of Florida (Gators) What are my chances of getting in?
Its just about that time for me to start planning my future but don't know which way to go. Im hoping to get in to University of Florida because it has the classes that I would like to take. I was wondering if it matters that I wasn't into alot school stuff.
UF is the premier university in the state of Florida. It is considered to be a Public Ivy. Assuming that you aren't an athletic super star you had dang well better be an academic top performer to have any hope. More applications are declined than accepted every year. Given two applications that are equal in regards to academic merit (SAT score, GPA, AP classes, etc) the student that is most involved in school and community activities usually gets the nod. So, yes, it matters that you aren't into "alot of school stuff".
If you're not at least a 4.0 GPA your best course of action is probably 2 years of community college and then transferring to UF.

Note that the "percent admitted" is declining about 6% each year. You're probably looking at about a 30% of being accepted if you are a borderline applicant.

What university in Florida would be the best choice if I want to major in graphic design?
I am currently a senior in high school and I just wanted to know what school would be best for a graphic design major? I want to work in print design if that helps at all. I have already applied to University of Florida. Just trying to figure out all of my options.
The best university for you depends on a lot of factors, not just major. Peterson's Guides (a standard reference source for info on colleges and universities) has a terrific website with excellent searching capabilities. My quick search for graphic design programs in Florida led to 11 matches. There are more links to many of the universities. Give it a try!
