Card Holder Pocket Can some one interfer with my holiday booking with certain information.?
Ok i will try n keep this short and detailed.
Me and 6 other friends had planned together a holiday apartment for next month since January.
The situation is that an E-mail of the invoice containing cardholders full address, Reference number, Invoice number and travel dates were sent to a friend for price verification purposes.
Now we have come to a situation where this friend is no longer interested in going on holiday with us. However has demanded that we refund his monies from our pocket. However according to the company, if we cancel within 28 days prior to travel we lose 80% of our initial sum.
Hence can this friend cancel the booking??
The booking was made through interhome.co.uk and this "so called" friend does not have the credit card details nor does he have the card holders D.O.B, however does have the card holders E-mail address.

With a credit card chargeoff in 2000. Can IRS send notice in 2009 stating that 2007 income is wrong & you owe?
Why would 2007 have an adjustment if the charge off was 2000. Isn't there some statute of limitations? Notice was just sent last week...Since it was a joint account charged off-wouldn't the secondary account holder have some liability.. (my ex-wife).. The tax implication are approx $2000 out of pocket
A charge off does not generate income. This just means the creditor is going to stop hounding you for the money and put a big black mark on your credit report. They still have the right to attempt collection. If you later settle with them--pay 50 cents on the dollar for what you owe--then they can't attempt to collect more and the difference becomes income.
