how to remove minor scratches on a leather wallet?
i have a gucci leather wallet, that has 4 card slots on one side and a money clip on the other. i only had it for one day and hte money clip shape got indented on the other side with the card slots. is this normal? because it seems as if there is no way to avoid this happening.
i also scratched the leather with my nail and i was wondering if this can be removed or if there was a way to minimize this appearance.

you can use saddle soap to condition the leather if it does not have a glossy finish. it is sold most places that sell shoe polish. that will raise the grain of the leather. also if the scratch is very noticeable after trying that get shoe polish that is as close as you can to the color of your wallet [lighter is better then darker ] apply it very lightly to the scratch . leather is very easily scratched and compressed but is also very easy to recondition. but the indent is there to stay .

The imprint is normal. Leather is a very delicate surface. There are many leather repair kits on the market. You should be able to find them easily. If you are at a loss check a leather specialty shop, they generally have the kits available. Shoe polish generally works fairly well also.
