where can i check a taxi license plate is valid and insured?
I had an accident in my car today and wasn't convinced the driver was genuine with his details , i got vehicle license plate and taxi license plate and want to run a check on him, tried to inform the police they were not interested.
Why didn't you get his name and license info? And insurance info? Isn't it standard practice to exchange all of this information, or call the police.

What is the nicest compliment you have ever received?
I received a random compliment from a taxi driver once informing me that I was fine when we were having an out of the blue in depth discussion and was feeling really bad about myself, and he turned around and gave me the once over and said in the most genuine way that I was just fine. Was so lovely as for some reason I chose to believe him.
