Holder Biker How do I stop my 1.5 year old maltese from barking and chasing people on bikes?(She goes mad)?
I adopted a now 1.5 year old maltese. She is a good dog but hates people on bicycles. I was letting her out always on a leash and as I was shutting my patio door she caught me off guard and pulled so hard she yanked the leach holder out of my hand and ran like a mad dog after she saw a pearson on a bike. I live off a main street and called for her firmly she ignored me but my biggest fear was not of her biting because she doesn't do that just that she was going to run in to the street and get hit by a car. It is progressing to people on scooters now. How can I make her stop. She has started barking to from the window when she sees people or bikers. It is getting out of hand and I am afraid she will get hurt. Any advice as to what I can do.
Obedient trained dogs don't do this so that is your answer she needs training if you cant do this then find a obedience class to en roll her in and both Of you will learn

What tool kit or tools would you recommend for a 2005 harely soft tail?
My mom bought a 2006 1200 sportser and decided she liked the 2005 Soft tail better. So she bought it.Well the battery went dead and she had not even a pen knife to take out one screw so she could get her seat off to check to see if they remembered to tighten the cables. Well there happen to be some other bikers there and they all had nice tool kits for there bikes on there front forks and now she has decided she needs a good tool set.But there are just so many to choose from. And since she let me ride her Soft tail all over Daytona Bike week I would like to get it for her. So please help.I don't want to spend a fortune either. But I know what quality tools cost and look like. So can you please give me a hand or two. Sincerely yours Walking Bear- I have been riding for 25 years and have always made my own set of tools and had the Amish make me a bag and a holder for them. Well she lives in Florida and I don't know any Amish down there.
There's a right tool for every job and it's never an adjustable wrench. That being said a kit to carry should have one but for maintenance at home leave it in the bag. As stated previously there are ready made kits that have a general assortment of handy items and this may be the way to go. One caution. An owner armed with tools and no knowledge is one of the most destructive forces a motorcycle can encounter. Buy her a basic manual as well.
