Letter Pad
is the anything keyboard or letter pad so it is easier to go online and move around with the nintendo wii?
is nintendo putting on a key pad so it is faster to move around when you are online with your nintendo wii
I heard any USB keyboard will work on the Wii. I have something called the "SharkBoard" that can be plugged into a PS2 or GameCube for Gameshark or Action Replay. But for some reason, the keyboard works on the Wii.

CEC wants letter pad parties to be banned
My keyboard thinks there is a number pad on the letters! Any ideas?
So today my keyboard seemed to think there is a number pad where some letters are. Its a laptop keyboard without a number pad. Now I have an external USB one in to type this.
"U" key on my keyboard has become a "4"
-"P" is a "*"
-"O" is "6"
-"I" is "5"
-"K" is "2"
-"L" is 3"
-"J" is 1"
-";" is "-"
-"m" is "0"
-"/" is "+"
-"0" is "/"
-"[" is enter
-"/" is +
What could be causing this to happen?
Also note, starting yesterday morning my "R" "Y" and "U" were working very intermittently. Then this morning they broke all together, when I pressed those letters nothing happened. Then this afternoon everything was working perfectly. Now, about 5 hours later I have a number pad on the letters, and "R" and "Y" work.
I don't have a Fn + Numlock. I have Fn, but Num lock isn't a button up top. There is "scr lk"...
Most laptops use a key combination to turn on a number pad layout that's superimposed on the standard keyboard. You should have a NumLock button on one of the function keys (F1, F2, etc.) that can be turned on and off using the combination Fn (down beside the left Ctrl key) and NumLock. Both the Fn and NumLock texts will be printed in a matching color, which will be different from the rest of the letters printed on the standard letter/number keys. The numbers on the 'number pad' will also be printed in the same color. Look closely and you should see them, provided they haven't worn off.
If it's turning off and on by itself then you may have a short in the keyboard. You can use a can of compressed air to blow out contaminants under the keys themselves; be careful so you don't blow any keys off. If it's still acting flaky, then you've got some kind of residual short, possibly from a liquid spill or something putting too much pressure on the keyboard. These kinds of keyboards are next to impossible to clean without damaging them further, so you'll need a replacement or alternative.
Unfortunately laptop keyboards are not cheap to replace.
