Excel or Access crosstab Q?
I am analyzing 4 different coffee supplier brands a-d, each brand comes in 3 pouch sizes and therefore different prices for each brand/pouch cell.. There area also 2 different coffee creamer supplier brands, e and f, with their own prices. I need the ability to analyze, quickly and concisely, what brand to purchase so I pay the lowest costs in each scenario. This cost is a changing cost over time as well. That is, the supplier may change once per month some of the products and prices, or add a product. There may also be volume discounts. How is this best tracked and calculated? Are there good ie's [links] I could view? I am aware of matrices, pivot tables, and Access. But I have never had to track this much cost detail. So I am looking for the simplest way , in general, to do this.thanks!
I must show suppliers for each of the brands. There are five suppliers.
