My ex husband met a Finnish girl and moved all over Europe with her.
When he lived in England he would have laughed along with the rest of the English Men at a man with a bag.
Now my kids tell me he goes nowhere without one!!!!!!

Bottega Veneta defines it as a man's bag. Who should we trust?? A shmuck, or one of the leaders of fashion?
Apart from the fact that the term "Europe" is quite vague because Europe is made up of different cultures and counties, however I've never seen a man carrying it either in my country (and I live in the country of Bottega Veneta!) or in other ones...
I've rather seen this other type of bag:
