Inserts Pass Case
Passing values between forms in VB 2008?
I need to add values to a database in MS Access 2003 using Visual Basic 2008. There are several forms. I want to save all the values of text boxes in a temporary storage instead of directly adding the values to the table so that i can cancel the input in case the user presses cancel at any stage. Currently i am creating a temporary table in which i am passing the values and using the last form I am inserting all the values into the correct tables from this temporary table. Is there a better way to do the same? Would it be better if i pass the data resulting from each form to other forms? If so, then how do i go about it? Passing each value separately as global variables doesn't seem to be a convenient method
creating a temporary table is a good option. also you can assign variables (public variables) where you shoud be able to recall the variable from another form.
