Chevy Cobalt Sport 2008?
I am trying to find parts for my car and am having a lot of trouble. I will give best answer to anyone who can find cheap prices and decent parts for me.
I need the impact bar which is the metal bar behind the bumper and absorber.
I need the bumper itself. It has to be labeled Sport cobalt. Because the lt ls or ss will not fit my car.
I also need the front left headlight orange bulb not orange reflectors....
Any help would be appreciated. But if you dont know what I am talking about don't answer I dont need to buy bad parts.

whats the name of the metal boot replacement for a shifter knob?
i saw a lot of sports racing cars with this. instead of the leather boot that my car and most manual cars have, it was just a metal faceplate with gear slots and numbers, i really want this on my car and would love if someone helped me find one or tell me the name
A shift gate, or a shifter gate. Google images those and you'll see what you want. I've seen a custom one here http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1303448 but never a mass produced one.

Look, it's almost next to impossible to tell what specific package these cars are unless you have the spec sheet in front of you. You cannot go simply by the grill look. Mazda made some minor changes to the 6 over the course of making their '03-'08 6s – which are all technically the same generation.
My buddy has an '03 6. His parents have an '05 6. I have an '08 6. My buddy's grill is like the 1st picture you mentioned. His parents' grill is like the 2nd picture you mentioned. They both drive 'S' models – which in Canada I believe would be like the GT. They have the goodies including sunroof, Bose, heated seats, leather, etc. My base '08 has a different looking grill yet. They changed it for the last year of that generation of 6 and they added some goodies like TPMS, alarm, upgraded tire size and some different body moldings to the '08 model too, as well as some new colors – some of these things which my buddy's and his parents' 6s would not have even though they are 'S' models.
The point is this. I could put a spoiler on my '08 and tint the windows and looking at it you wouldn't have any idea what package it was until you opened the door.
The only way to know for sure what package the 6 is …. is to ask the seller or go see it in person. You can't tell just by the exterior. If it's got a sunroof, heated seats, leather, Bose, spoiler, etc. then chances are you're looking at the higher level 6.
This is probably clear as mud. Oh well, I tried.
