Israel is a cancer in this world. The Israeli inhumane behavior in Gaza including the shelling of UN schools which was full of refugees is a proof of their madness. They no longer have any feeling of shame to kill a child or any person. Why are defying all human values? I don't know. They must have gone out of their minds. No reasonable human being would do that: Killing 1200 people who were sleeping in their beds or having lunch or praying in a mosque. Don't listen to all excuses they give for their murders. They can not be accepted by any wise person. No law on earth justifies the killing of a child no matter what.

Can anyone explain why a piece of tiny plastic or metal worth maybe 50 cents can end up as a designer glasses frame worth hundreds of dollars.
In relation to just about everything else in the world made of similar materials, they must be the most expensive items on the planet..pound for pound.

I buy my frames off eBay and get my Rx put in. Typically I favor aluminum cateye Turas from the 1950s. My computer glasses are 14K gold from 1860. They were $40 on eBay and my Rx was $25 on top of that. I have some sterling ones from 1803. I paid $165 for them. There are options other than the cheap wire and plastic stuff.
