Whats the best way to hide/keep your ID/$$ secure while traveling?
I travel a lot. Has anyone tried these wrist wallets?

They seem cute.
Put the big cuts (100 dollars and 50 ) inside your socks, between your socks and your feet folded in half.(if anyone will have to take off your socks to get your money, it means that you have to worry for your life more than the money).
Keep the 10 and twenty on your body somewhere...
only the 5 and the single you keep in your pocket, so when you pay for something your potential thief will only notice the small bills, not the large ones.
At night, in the hotel where you stay, cash one hundred dollar bill at the time, taking it from your sock..nobody will notice your hiding place and you'll have small bills at all the time without flashing the big stash..

KANGA-Your Hidden Wallet
I would like to know how to find a good deal on a place to stay in Amsterdam, Netherlands this September?
I will be traveling to Amsterdam, Netherlands during the month of September. Whenever I search online for a place to stay, I seem to only find very expensive places. Does anyone have information on how one would secure their money and valuables while staying at a Youth Hostel? Seems like it is pretty risky to simply trust that nobody will help themselves to your wallet, passport, etc.

you can find pretty cheap accommodation in September if you check out the following booking site....www.booking.com...
please avoid traveling between 7 and 12 September, due to a large international congress, IBC. The whole city will be packed and the hotels that still have a few rooms left will sell them at extreme high rates.
And as far as your valuables...just carry them on your body, no place is safe enough or you must place them in a locker which you can find in some hotels or at the airport or central railway station (payable services)
