Ball Triple
If you were a Tampa Bay Ray player, would you have called B.J. Upton out on jogging toward the ball?
If anyone missed out, today Evan Longoria called B.J. Upton out on jogging toward a ball hit to centerfield, which resulted in a triple that should have been a double, and ultimately runs scored against the Rays. If you were a Rays player, would you have done the same thing, or would you have tried to keep the peace in the team and not call Upton out?
You have to remember, this wasn't the first time Upton has pulled this crap. He's been benched for doing the exact same thing two seasons ago. Longoria had every right in the world calling him out on it. A team doesn't need players that just go through the motions. Players get paid millions of dollars to play a kid's game. The least they can do is give 100%.
