Card Picture
Where can I purchase Omlypus camera memory/picture card?
I'm intending to purchase Fe3000 Omlypus camera from an online seller but it does not come with the memory/picture card. I'm lost as this is my first time getting a camera on my own for my personal use. Would appreciate if anyone could enlighten me, thanks!
Most department stores, office supply stores and pharmacies sell a wide variety of memory cards. Also Radio Shack and similar stores carry many types of memory cards. Wal Mart, Staples and Radio Shack all sell or have sold Olympus models so you should be able to get them there.
You can also order online. Adorama and B&H Photo are reliable on line stores I have dealt with.

ADDITION INFORMATION: The camera can use xD cards or MicroSD cards with an adapter, the adapter is included with the camera if it is sold in the U.S. by authorized Olympus dealer. Check with the specifications to make sure you are getting the adapter with the camera. I have been unable to determine if the MicroSDHC cards can be used in this camera so I would not get that type until you have been able to verify that it can be used. The HC stands for High Capacity and allows the design of cards with greater than 2GB capacity.

What is the difference between a Micro SD picture card and xD picture card besides the size?
I just bought an Olympus Stylus Tough 8000 digital camera and need to pick a picture card for it. I am looking at a 2GB card. What are the major differences and advantages between the two cards besides the size?
the xD card is mainly for cameras only. No other device uses an xD card (at least from my knowledge). Micro SD is more universal and can be used on a celphone, GPS, camera (it normally comes with adapters to become an xD or SD), etc. Get the micro SD.
