Phone Vlog + How to Glue Rhinestones to Mobile/Cell Phone Case
Just bought 3 pairs of bebe flip flops w/rhinestones, advice on how to keep the rhinestones from falling off?
One rhinestone already fell off inside the bebe bag and I haven't even wore them yet. I heard a that a clear coat of nail polish will keep them from falling off....but I dont want them to cloud up. Any suggestions?
YIKES! I hear people say that all the time, but the last thing you want to apply is nail polish!! My suggestion, first of all go to Hobby Lobby or other major craft store in your town. Buy a pack or two of SWAROVSKI crystals (the flat back kind, not iron on, not sew on). Select a stone that closely matches the ones on your shoe, (take one with you). Then check the craft glue in the same department. All glue is different, so you need to read which one is best for securing the stones to fabric (or leather? I am not familiar with those flip flops, so select the material that they consist of) By the way, superglue is not the fix all many think it is and it will dull the stones by burning them, yes, same with your finger/toe nails...) this way, as the stones fall ff, you can replace them. any stones will eventually fall off of any ype of clothing! Shoes particularly because they really have to withstand alot of wear & tear! As you replace the stones, they will be more secure, but be careful not to apply too much glue, as it will run, perhaps on the stones, or worse, on the shoe itself. (I suggest practicing a little on something less important first).
